Injection due-date calculator

Editorially reviewed on October 29, 2026. [TODO: medical reviewer]

Quick answer

The 3-monthly injectable (DMPA: Depotrust, Lyndavel) is due every 13 weeks. Enter the date of your last shot to see the next due date, how late you can be without backup, and a calendar reminder a week ahead.

Your answers stay on this device.

For the 3-monthly intramuscular shot (DMPA 150 mg).

Educational only. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist if unsure.

How it works

We add 13 weeks (91 days) to your last injection date. The WHO Family Planning Handbook says a repeat injection can be given up to 4 weeks late without needing extra protection.[src] If you are past that, talk to your provider before your next shot and use condoms meanwhile.

DMPA product costs from ₱99 a dose (product only), or ₱300 to ₱900 at private clinics, and it is free at barangay health centers, subject to supply.[src] Read the full injectable guide.
