Privacy policy
Last updated October 29, 2026
This policy explains what Birth Control Philippines (birthcontrolphilippines.com) collects and why, in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173). The short version: we collect very little, and never your health information.
What we collect
- Page views. We use Vercel Analytics to count which pages are visited, along with general information your browser sends, such as the page address, the referring site, browser type, device type and country. Vercel Analytics is designed to measure traffic without cookies that track you across sites.
- Tool events. Our tools send events that carry only the event type and the tool's name: tool opened, tool completed, PDF exported, reminder added, embed copied and data exported. They never include your answers, values or dates.
- Partner clicks. When you click a partner link (an address starting with
/go/), we record which partner was clicked. Nothing else about you is recorded with it. - Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to fix the site.
What we do not collect
- No health data. Pill tracker entries, side effects, quiz answers and missed pill details stay on your device. See privacy by design.
- No accounts, passwords or payment details. You cannot sign up on this site.
- No advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent any data.
How we use it
Page views and tool events help us understand which guides and tools are useful, and partner click counts help us understand which referrals people use. We use this information only in aggregate.
Third parties
- Hosting and analytics: the site runs on Vercel, which processes server logs and analytics on our behalf.
- Partners: when you leave our site for a teleconsult platform, clinic or pharmacy, their own privacy policy applies. Read it before you share health information with them.
How long we keep it
Analytics data is kept in aggregate for as long as it is useful for running the site. Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with your message. Data stored by our tools on your device stays there until you delete it.
Your rights under RA 10173
You have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to correct, to erasure or blocking, to data portability and to file a complaint. Because we hold almost no personal information, most requests will be about emails you sent us. You can also complain to the National Privacy Commission.

If we change what we collect, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
